Tashkent streets covered in snow (photos)
On January 11, heavy snow fell in many regions of Uzbekistan. Such snowfall was not observed in the past few years.

Due to the cold weather, problems are arising in communal services. The energy crisis is causing serious concern to the population.
Ice on the roads is dangerous for both human life and cars. City improvement workers are working to prevent such situations.
