President Mirziyoyev approves green energy agreement with Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution approving a cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on the transmission of green energy, according to the Ministry of Justice.

The agreement was signed on November 13, 2024, in Baku.
Under this agreement, the transmission of generated green energy across the Caspian Sea will be organized, with the project linked to an energy cable connecting the Black Sea.
The Ministry of Energy has been designated as the authorized body responsible for implementing the international agreement.
The Cabinet of Ministers, along with the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, will oversee compliance with the provisions of this international agreement after it comes into force in accordance with established procedures.
