AFC U-17 Asian Cup: Uzbekistan to face North Korea in semi-final today
Uzbekistan’s U-17 national football team will face North Korea today in a decisive match for a spot in the final.

On April 17, the semi-final of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup, held in Saudi Arabia, will take place. The Uzbekistan U-17 team, performing admirably throughout the tournament, will take on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) for a place in the final.
The match will kick off at 22:15 Tashkent time at the King Fahd Stadium in the city of Taif, Saudi Arabia.
It is worth noting that under the leadership of coach Islombek Ismoilov, Uzbekistan secured an early qualification for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, as well as a place in the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, after defeating China 2–1 on April 7.
