Saida Mirziyoyeva holds talks with Russian PM Mikhail Mishustin and other high-level officials in Moscow
As part of her official visit to Moscow, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, held a series of high-level meetings with Russian government officials and key figures from the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The discussions centered on deepening strategic partnership across trade, migration, education, and cultural cooperation.

At the meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the sides discussed accelerating migration procedures, including the possibility of transferring parts of the patent issuance process to Uzbekistan. Both parties emphasized the growing trade volume and the advancement of joint industrial and energy projects. The importance of regional cooperation and educational initiatives – such as opening new branches of Russian universities in Uzbekistan and launching the MISiS engineering school – was also highlighted.
With Anton Vaino, Head of the Russian Presidential Administration, and his deputies Aleksey Gromov and Sergey Kiriyenko, Mirziyoyeva discussed youth policy and leadership development issues, noting shared interest in supporting talented youth and launching joint initiatives. The strategic nature of Uzbekistan–Russia relations, grounded in mutual trust between the two presidents, was reaffirmed.

During her meeting with Vladimir Medinsky, Aide to the Russian President, cultural and humanitarian cooperation took center stage. They considered initiatives in culture, education, and heritage preservation, with particular attention given to the opening of an Uzbek art exhibition at the "New Jerusalem" museum and the organization of Russian Culture Days in Uzbekistan.
In her Telegram post, Mirziyoyeva expressed sincere gratitude to the Russian side for the hospitality and affirmed Uzbekistan’s commitment to achieving practical outcomes through open and trust-based dialogue. She also underscored the value of close coordination on all key issues and welcomed the creation of mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of bilateral agreements.
