President awards Kun.uz editor and political analyst on national press day

These awards were presented in recognition of the recipients’ significant contributions to deepening democratic reforms in Uzbekistan, ensuring citizens' constitutional rights in the information sphere, promoting freedom of speech and the press, strengthening transparency, defending national interests in the global information space, and widely publicizing the major achievements of the New Uzbekistan. The honorees were also acknowledged for their efforts in training highly qualified modern journalists, instilling love and loyalty to the homeland in the younger generation, and active participation in social life.

Aziz Qarshiyev is a seasoned journalist and a graduate of the Journalism Faculty at the National University of Uzbekistan. He has been actively working as an editor at Kun.uz since 2014. Over the years, countless readers have followed both domestic and international news and analysis authored and edited by Qarshiyev.

Kamoliddin Rabbimov is a well-known political analyst and thinker. For many years, he has been offering expert insights into political developments in Uzbekistan and around the world. Since February 2023, Rabbimov has been closely collaborating with Kun.uz and regularly publishes opinion pieces through his dedicated column on the site.
