Kouzon to launch recruitment campaign in Uzbekistan for cruise ship jobs
The company is primarily interested in graduates of tourism universities and colleges.

Uzbekistan has discussed potential cooperation with the international recruitment company Kouzon to send citizens to work aboard maritime cruise ships, the Tourism Committee reported.
On July 17, officials from the committee met with the company’s CEO, Zoran Kočoski. The main topic of discussion was the recruitment of students and graduates from tourism institutions to join the cruise ship industry in Turkey.
Kouzon has shown particular interest in graduates of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the International Academy of Tourism in Samarkand. Kočoski also noted the potential to recruit other Uzbek citizens aged 21 to 45 who have a good command of English.
The Kouzon CEO emphasized the company’s readiness to support Uzbek citizens in line with a roadmap jointly approved with the Migration Agency. This support includes assistance with visa processing, candidate selection and training, and job placement on cruise ships.
At the end of the meeting, Kočoski proposed organizing a familiarization trip in August–September for representatives of tourism universities, colleges, and travel agencies. The visit would allow them to learn more about the company’s services, working conditions, and staff requirements aboard cruise liners.
Prior to this meeting, the company’s CEO had also held talks with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Discussions focused on establishing organized recruitment of Uzbek workers for cruise jobs and setting up joint training centers in Uzbekistan for hospitality, restaurant, and service industry professions.
According to the Dunyo news agency, both sides agreed to launch a pilot project to send Uzbek citizens to work for cruise companies. They also plan to explore mechanisms to implement other initiatives.
Just a few days earlier, Tashkent State Transport University signed an agreement to launch a joint academic program with Tianjin University and Tianjin Maritime College. Under the program, students will study for three years in Tashkent and one year in China.
