Chinese business representatives met with the governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, to discuss the implementation of several technology-related projects, the regional administration reported.

On July 23, Governor Bozorov received a delegation led by Yu Weifei, Vice President of AVCiT Technology Holding. The meeting focused on following up on agreements reached during a regional delegation’s visit to China in April, particularly in the energy, digital, and related sectors.

The parties highlighted AVCiT Technology’s established position in the security systems and software markets. During the discussions, they explored in detail the initiatives planned for Fergana in these fields.

A representative of Guanzhou Victel Technology Co. Ltd, who also participated in the meeting, presented a project to deploy experimental wideband wireless base stations in Fergana using a dedicated communication network.

The company also intends to establish a dedicated technology park in the region. Governor Bozorov welcomed the idea and noted that it would be prudent to first implement these projects in pilot format before scaling them up.

Another participant in the talks announced his company’s plan to invest $5 million in a transformer production project in Fergana. The governor expressed support for the initiatives, emphasizing the importance of using advanced technologies and prioritizing job creation.
