Uzbekistan increases import of foreign-made cars in Jan-Aug
$1.2 billion was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain industries and $608.9 – on spare parts.

The State Statistics Committee provided information on vehicles and auto spare parts imported to Uzbekistan in January-August.
It is noted that $1.2 billion was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain types of industries. $608.9 was paid for spare parts.
Vehicles, mainly passenger cars (excluding ones designed to carry 10 or more people), were imported for $332.5 million. $1 billion was spent on non-industrial automobiles and their spare parts.
Electronic communication, recording and broadcasting devices cost $426.8 million, while electric cars, apparatus, instruments and their spare parts cost $329.4 million.
